Mural commissioned by Raum, located at Berlijnplein in Utrecht.
This 50-meter-wide wall tells a story that reflects the dreams and ambitions of a new neighborhood that is developing and evolving, like Leidsche Rijn. Through characters and scenes, I have touched on themes such as hospitality, peacefulness, cohabitation, art & culture, and a safe environment where people can play and explore. While working with these topics and trying to implement all of this into the design, the main goal was also to simply create a piece that just FUN for the people of the neighbourhood that pass by on a daily basis.
